Knox County Gleaners
Harvesting our fields, feeding our neighbors.
Knox County Gleaners
We help farmers harvest their surplus crops to increase food security in Knox County.
Our Mission: Gleaning produce to increase food security by harvesting surplus crops in Knox County
Our Vision: Connecting Knox County farmers and neighbors in need with locally grown food
Program Summary
2024 was a transition year as some folks needed to step away from the Knox County Gleaners program. To continue the program, Come Spring Food Pantry absorbed Knox County Gleaners and made it a program within the pantry. Because of the transition, we did not glean as many farms this year as we would have liked. We hope to grow the program over the coming years with the support of the community and local farms!
